Gabriel Powlison

Gabriel is a fourth-year student at Kent State University working towards his B.A. In psychology with honors and a minor in philosophy. He is also working with Dr. Black on his senior thesis, investigating children's causal explanations of failure and how this relates to parental support and the child's stress-cortisol response. His research interests include parent-child relationships, mood disorders, and protective factors. He hopes to pursue these interests into graduate school. In his free time, Gabriel enjoys board games, playing the bass guitar, reading, and writing.
